We are pleased to announce the successful completion of phase one of Operation Phoenix Garden at Saul High School. Alumni mentors with a special connection to the four school student farmers guided by Mr. Turko, Horticulture teacher in dismantling an outdated garden built in the 1980s. Jaleena, a senior at Saul High School has undertaken a new gardening project as her senior project, "The Phoenix Garden", under the guidance of a seasoned 20-year alumnus, Celeste. Fundraising efforts are underway to support this initiative, slated for completion by Spring 2026.

The new garden will feature sheltered seating areas, trellises, and planter boxes containing herbs, vines, and flowers. With material costs being substantial, our target is to raise at least $4,000. We kindly request that you please share this information with family, friends, and community supporters, as this project is a collaborative effort between Saul alumni and current students.

For donations to this cause, please add Phoenix Garden in comment section of the donation link provided.
